Vlad Stolojan

Dr. Stolojan is an accomplished nanomaterials research scientist with a PhD in Physics, specializing in nanomaterials and their applications, fabrication, and characterization techniques. His journey began with expertise in transmission electron microscopy and spectroscopy, leading to a diverse research portfolio spanning carbon, inorganic, and metallic nanomaterials. They are proficient in specific fabrication methods, such as CVD and electrospinning, along with numerous characterization techniques.

Dr Stolojan has led groundbreaking research on carbon nanotube electrical cables, published extensively, and co-founded Radical Fibres Ltd. As the CTO, he contributed to a diverse InnovateUK funding portfolio.

Dr. Stolojan is an Associate Professor at the University of Surrey. He has managed several grants, supervised student projects, and provided consulting services. His expertise spans a wide range of experimental techniques, from TEM and SEM to 3D printing, Raman spectroscopy, and more.
