Abstract
This is the data of the paper: Haar, S., Sundar, G., & Faisal, A. A. (2021). Embodied virtual reality for the study of real-world motor learning. PLoS ONE DOI: 10.1371/journal.pone.0245717. The data includes the task performance and body movement of 10 subjects over 300 repeated trials of the same pool shoot. Task performance includes the success in each trial (vrBallScs) and the angular error of the virtual target ball from the centre of the pocket (vrBallErr). The body movement is a 4D matrix (jointVelocity) with the joint velocity of each joint during each shoot. The dimensions are 10 subjects * 61 frames (in 60Hz around the peak velocity) * 300 trials * 54 joint angles (listed in jointsLabels).
