I am interested in the use of corpus technologies for translation and interpreting studies, in particular technology-supported interpreting, e.g. using corpus management tools for terminology extraction for interpreting preparation, compilation and application of English-Chinese parallel and comparable corpora for translator and interpreter training, etc. I am also interested in interpreting in mental healthcare settings, exploring the role of interpreters in multilingual healthcare communications. I have research background of Critical Discourse Analysis, Complexity Theory in translation and interpreting, Second Language Teaching and Learning.
