Abstract
This presentation discusses my approach to musical reworking. I posit a continuum from revision (replacement) to reworking (addition) and then explain four approaches to the latter in my work: bifurcation/proliferation, condensation, deconstruction and appropriation. I briefly touch on some aesthetic considerations to conclude.
