Expertise

My research lies at the intersection of Operational Research, Business Analytics, Artificial Intelligence and immersive digital technologies. I develop decision-intelligence methods that combine mathematical optimisation, discrete-event simulation, machine learning, explainable AI and generative AI agents with digital twins, game engines and extended reality.

The aim is not simply to predict outcomes, but to improve and explain complex operational decisions while retaining meaningful human oversight. My research has applications in manufacturing, supply chains and logistics, transportation, healthcare, financial services and sustainability. A central theme is translating analytical methods into practical, trustworthy systems that support more efficient, resilient and sustainable organisations.

My current interests include human-centric Industry 5.0, immersive digital twin environments, transparent and explainable optimisation, AI-supported simulation, and the integration of generative AI agents into operational decision-making.
