Expertise

Dr Scott Munro is the Advanced Practice Lead for the South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust and Lecturer in Paramedic Practice at the University of Surrey. Scott gained his PhD in the prehospital management of acute stroke patients in 2020 and co-authored the UK Joint Royal Colleges Ambulance Liaison Committee (JRCALC) clinical stroke guidelines. He has published and presented on several different facets of prehospital care both nationally and internationally. His research interests include improving prehospital clinical care; improving staff wellbeing; and the implementation of innovative technologies.
