Expertise

An international focus on green technology, and ambitious targets of net zero by 2050, have motivated aircraft and engine manufacturers to develop concepts of hybrid-electric, full-electric and hydrogen-fueled aircraft. While several concurrent strategies are necessary, the technical challenges associated with the electrification of commercial passenger aircraft have further encouraged a focus on hydrogen systems. My research focuses on using innovative approaches to advance state-of-the-art industrial modelling capabilities enabling components, systems and aircraft-level impact assessments as well as design & performance optimization of several liquid hydrogen aircraft enabling technologies, to ensure their early entry into the service.
