Expertise

My group's research centres on the role of stress in neuropsychiatric, neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative disorders. Using zebrafish as a model system, we investigate how environmental stressors interact with genetic and molecular pathways, translating these insights to human conditions. My work spans psychopharmacology, molecular genetics and affective neuroscience, with a strong emphasis on precision medicine to inform individualised treatment strategies.
