Expertise

My research area is Artificial Intelligence. I am particularly interested in Computer Vision and Synthetic Data-aware Architectures for Robust Perception, as a broad field encompassing autonomous driving, remote sensing, deep learning, simulation, and domain adaptation. My objective is to develop and analyse new robust and data-efficient algorithms that close the gap between research prototypes and deployed perception systems. I design architectures and training strategies that enable perceptual modules, such as segmentation, tracking, and video stabilization, to remain robust under adverse weather, low illumination, and other harsh environmental conditions.
