This report examines existing LGBTQ+ policies and practices in UK higher education institutions and identifies areas for improvement, drawing on survey responses and interviews with EDI staff and LGBTQ+ network chairs. Participants emphasised the central role of LGBTQ+ networks in providing support and advocacy, while also highlighting the importance of visibility, training, and effective policy implementation. The report also provides suggestions for areas of improvement.
