Abstract
Recently the entertainment industry, the multimedia content providers and the research community have been experiencing the decisive introduction and evolution of three - dimensional (3D) imaging. This far more complex and sophisticated than the tra ditional 2D, technology raises the major problem of how the user perceives quality of 3D video. This paper summarizes the current state of research on measuring the 3D Quality of Experience (QoE), the factors that influence it and provides an overview of the future of QoE as the 3D technology matures and evolves further
