Abstract
Interactions of phospholipid vesicles with polynucleotides (polyadenylic and polyuridylic acids) in the presence of bivalent magnesium cations were studied by 1H and 31P NMR spectroscopies. The formation of complexes between colloid particles (vesicles) and polynucleotides duplex (poly-A:U) as well as the role of magnesium in that process were demonstrated. Surface phosphate groups of phospholipid bilayer and residual parts of polynucleotides phosphoric acid take place in complexation. Magnesium ions form bridges between them. Structure of inner fields of bilayer do not change at the formation of ternary complexes.
