Abstract
A hexane extract of the wood of
Dysoxylum muelleri has yielded 3α-cinnamoyl glabretal, 3α-benzoyl glabretal, 21,24-epoxy-23α,25-dihydroxy-4α,4β,8β-trimethyl-14,18-cyclo-5α,13α,14α,17α-cholestan-3α-cinnamoyl-7α-yl acetate, 21,24-epoxy,23α,25-dihydroxy-4α,4β,8β-trimethyl-14,18-cyclo-5α,13α,14α,17α-cholestan-3α-benzoyl-7α-yl acetate; 21,23-epoxy-21,24,25-trihydroxy-4α,4β,8β-trimethyl-14,18-cyclo-5α,13α,14α,17α-cholestan-3α-cinnamoyl-7α-yl acetate and 21,23-epoxy-21,24,25-trihydroxy-4α,4β,8β-trimethyl-14,18-cyclo-5α,13α,14α,17α-cholestan-3α-benzoyl-7α-yl acetate. A hexane extract of the bark yielded 6α-acetoxy-obacunone acetate.
