Abstract
Cyberspace security is in its infancy. Consumers, businesses and governments are right in their concern of cyberspace security and privacy. The need for enhancing the trustworthiness of general purpose computing platform is studied and a particular approach for achieving it is described. An industry alliance to define a specification of platform security with the aim of promoting that specification for broad adoption is presented.
