Abstract
Solar Sails have been studied thoroughly in the last two decades. Advances in microelectronics, carbon fiber booms and thin film development/manufacturing have lead to the potential of making a solar sail mission possible in the near future. Solar sails are difficult to control due to their large inertias and the lack of mass and volume on the sailcraft. The poster paper discusses attitude control options for an Interstellar Heliopause Probe solar sail mission.
