Abstract
This Portfolio contains two empirical studies that explore both sides of the therapist/client dyad in relation to transitioning to online therapy in the home environment. These transitions occurred within the context of the Covid-19 pandemic and prior to these studies remained an under-researched area. These papers are presented in the order in which they were conducted. The first paper explores therapist experiences of transitioning to online working in the home environment and the second focuses on client experiences of transitioning to online therapy within their own homes. A consideration of both papers’ findings in relation to each other is explored in the discussion of the second paper; here the first paper is referenced as (Bird, 2023).
