Abstract

• The effect of disability on carers is also an under studied area related to Work-Life Balance. This presentation looks at the case of mothers of children with autism. Exploring the demands on mothers from the family and work domain. By using a narrative approach, findings suggest that social support, child diagnosis and workplace flexibility were considered integral to maintaining a healthy WLB. Student Presentation.
