Abstract
This research aimed at developing and evaluating a new generic model of individual workplace performance (IWP). First, individuals’ notions of IWP were uncovered through interviews. Expert discussions of the findings provided the basis for developing an IWP model (11 categories). To assess its generalisation, a second study drew on a newly designed multirater performance measure. Whilst results suggested a more parsimonious structure of IWP, overall support was provided for model and measure.
